Smiles at Strawberry Springs

A new flavor has found its way to the trays, stomachs, and hearts of hungry students at Miami Springs Senior High. If you’re looking for a way to freshen up a seemingly otherwise boring lunch, then the strawberry milk sounds like the perfect addition. Rachel Bardelas, a Junior, says she chose the new strawberry milk because it is a new flavor.  SInce she doesn’t like the other white or chocolate milk options, the strawberry was the perfect milk to enhance her lunch.  “It tastes like the Strawberry Nesquik,” Bardelas elaborated, “so it has a really good taste.”  Bardelas also went on to say that it is a huge improvement on school lunch, and one of the biggest  accomplishments of the school this year.  Overall, Rachel rated it a 9 on a scale of 1-10.  Another Junior, Fiorella Rodriguez, chose the strawberry milk because she “saw it was a new item, and wanted to try it.”  It tasted how she expected it to, and was elated about the school finally serving the new milk.  Fiorella rated it an 8/10, due to its satisfying flavor and the new, exciting experience. She ended by agreeing that it’s a milk she would choose again.
