Four-day school weeks

It been brought to the attention to many school districts that the 5-day school week regulation has brought a problem that has been disrupting the learning environment and level of education. To which led many districts have transferred from the regular 5-day school week into the now 4-day school week. In which well over 800 districts have switched their schedules to the 4-day school week. To many peoples surprise it has also brought productivity even said one independence school superintendent from KMBC 9 news quoting, “I have to admit: it’s gone better than what we expected.” Also, some words to be said by a fellow peer Edgar Olguin” People have a life outside of school you know, not only that but helps teachers and students have more time to spend with their family.”

The reason for said transition of a 5-day school week to a 4 day has been to “help the teacher shortage” Accordingly to Fox 35 news. Also stated from Fox 35 news this new academical schedule has had an upbringing of “650 more since 2020”. To that Xavier Solis has some thoughts to add “I do think it’s fair but think that summer should have the same number of days off as the days of 5-day school weeks to help decrease the tension for the students and have students feel as comfortable as they can be.”

These now new and improved schedules include removing a day of school and increasing the duration of a average and each individual school day. To It has brought much diversity in opinions which has stirred up a lot of controversy. What we know is for sure though is the number is increasing by the day for this academical schedule change.
