Mercury Retrograde

Mercury retrograde is an astrological phenomenon that occurs three to four times a year. Mercury appears to be going backward in its orbit during this time, which may affect technology, communication, and travel. It’s usual for people to have communication breakdowns, delays, and technological problems during Mercury retrograde. Although this can be frustrating, it’s important to keep in mind that it’s a normal aspect of the cosmic cycle. Retrospection, introspection, and reevaluation are all appropriate during Mercury retrograde. Take a step back and reassess your goals if you are experiencing the impacts of Mercury retrograde. Consider your goals and check that you’re headed in the right direction now.

I had the opportunity to get some feedback from students from my class and asked them their opinion on mercury retrograde. Student Rachelle Segura stated, “people don’t believe in astronomical stuff but once you really think about it you see how it is real if that makes sense.” I asked student Breanna Solano if she agrees with Rachelle’s comment, but she stated that “I choose to not believe on it so I can stop overthinking.” They both have different opinions on this topic which is important for this article.
