Cap & Gown season is here

On January 24, 2023, Herff Jones visited Miami Springs Senior High School to speak to their senior students about their most important purchase of the year: their cap and gowns. For some seniors, this can be the scariest part of graduation since some do not know whether they will be walking across the stage come May. Either way, Herff Jones recommends that “you buy your cap and gown now, so that you can be guaranteed a gown in your size.”

The purchasing process can be difficult to understand for most .  So, here is some information to better help you purchase the right fit. You can go to the pop up location in Doral located at 7640 NW 25th Street, Suite 107, Miami, FL 33122, or you can go to the Herff Jones website, if you are not able to go in person. You need to provide your height and weight to ensure your gown can go down to mid-calf. If you are going to wear heels, then you should add an extra two inches to your height so it can fit as it is supposed to.

There are five different packages to chose from, ranging from $60.00 to $120.00. The basic package brings the cap and gown, class keychain, bumper sticker, and a proud parent t-shirt. As you go higher in price, more items are added to your bundle, such as a senior shirt, senior sweatshirt, senior sweatpants, and decorations for your diploma. You can also purchase the senior merchandise separately and then get whichever package is best for you.

The final day to purchase your cap and gown is February 11, 2023.. After that, you risk the chance of not getting your cap and gown in the right size and you also risk the chance of not having a cap and gown at all. So buy your cap and gown now for a cheaper price and the right fit.
