In Marvel’s latest super hero installment, “Black Panther” is breaking records by the week. For five weeks straight it has been number one at the box office with no competition in sight. The movie has brought in $27 million just this week and an international haul of over $1.2 billion. These numbers have previously been achieved by “Avatar” in 2009 but it looks like Black Panther will soon be overtaking these numbers very soon in its climb to reach new heights never previously seen before. It’s no surprise these numbers are being achieved as the movie has been praised again and again by many critics and has proven to be one of the greatest super hero movies of all time, acquiring a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 7.8/10 on IMBd. Touching on subjects that no other films dare to tread it has quickly become a fan favorite that will be implanted in film history for all to see. The success of the film also has many people wondering how will the next Marvel movie compares “The Avengers: Infinity War” and will it break records and exceed everyone’s expectations, only time will tell.
