On Monday, January 22, 2018, a teenage boy shot a teenage girl at a Texas high school cafeteria. Fortunately, the teenage girl was airlifted to the hospital while the teenage boy was taken into custody. The suspect shot the victim multiple times with a semi .380 handgun. A school district employee confronted the suspect, but he immediately left the cafeteria. He was fortunately arrested by law enforcement officers on school grounds. The handgun was recovered as evidence, but police has not yet confirmed the charges or motive for the shooting. Fortunately, no one else was shot by the victim. The students were moved to nearby Stafford Elementary.
