Covid Antiviral Pill

Promising news has been leaked to the press; reporters have stated that a new Covid Antiviral pill is out. Pfizer, Inc. states that this pill cuts 89% of hospitalization and even death. Officials have stated that Pfizer’s pill known as Paxloid could secure approval from the U.S. in less than a year. Pfizer plans to conduct trials and get the pill approved by the Food and drug Administration before November 25, 2021. Shortly after that the trials stated, they were stopped,.  Since the drug was so successful, the trials were no longer needed. A new light is shining upon the pandemic that has destroyed the world.  But will this pill be as effective as they say? Based on the data the company has released, the pill seems to be completely safe.  “We’ve already secured millions of doses. The therapy would be another tool in our toolbox to protect people from the worst outcomes of COVID,” stated President Biden.  Everything seems to be heading in the right direction; hopefully, this pill will finally rid the world of this gruesome virus.
