Makeup season is here in full effect

It is now the month of October which means homecoming is right around the corner and Halloween shortly after, making it now the time for makeovers. With homecoming, every girl is excited and expecting a beautiful gown and blinding makeup for the special occasion. Not many young girls get to dress-up often, so this gives them an excuse to get “gussied-up” with fancy hairstyles and “slay” makeup. This reporter asked a few high schoolers about the upcoming events. “I can’t wait ’til homecoming day because I finally get to go all out and get my makeup done very simple but elegant.  I know it’s going to be a blast”, responded Daisha, 12th grader at MSSH. But not only are the ladies excited, the guys are “hyped” about Halloween night. Not only do they get to go trick-or-treating, but they get to wear crazy costumes and create spooky makeup looks all of kinds, which will certainly be fun for everyone. “I’m going to be a vampire this Halloween and my makeup is going to be so realistic, I’m going to look like a real vampire”, said Alyssa, 10th grader, excitingly. These events are going to be a blast. Make sure to take part in the “unofficial” makeup season, and most importantly, have fun!
