This max cat. 4 hurricane ravaged the land claiming 53 lives, the homes of 11,000 people, and the time of countless people trying to help. The storm landed on the 14th of September and lasted almost to the night of September 19, 2018. When the first rays of light showed through the cloudy sky, people caught the first glimpse of what 13 billion in damages looked like. Many left homeless, others dead, and few unscathed. The storm was over but the struggle for thousands had just began.
