North Korea’s state media has been criticizing Donald Trump for insulting the supreme leader of North Korea Jon-un and saying that Trump deserved the death penalty and calling him a coward because he canceled a visit to inter-Korean border. When Trump last visited North Korea, an editorial of the ruling party newspaper Rodong Sinmun said and I quote “The worst crime for which he can never be pardoned is that he dared to malignantly hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership.” They also said that “He should know that he is just a hideous criminal sentenced to death by the Korean people.” Ever since Trump became president, he and Jong-un has insulted each other, as well as threatened each other with military strikes. Toward the end of his Asian tour, Trump sent a tweet that says and I quote “Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me ‘old; when I would NEVER call him ‘short and fat’? The editorial also talked about the main reason why Trump failed to tour the demilitarised zone (DMZ) and it wasn’t because of bad weather. It says and I quote “It wasn’t bad weather.” “He was too scared to face the glaring eyes of our troops. As you can see, the relationship between America and North Korea is not going well at all, which could cause problems in the future for both countries.
