Brazilian Funk is sweeping Brazil

Brazilian Funk has become very popular in Brazil. Its origin came frommid-1980s, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is also called “Baile Funk”. This topic of music talks about the struggles when it comes to being poor. Some songs sing about drugs and sometimes it even has sexual content. This type of music has nice Latin beats to it. One song that became a hit in the USA during the 1980’s is by Kaoma. The memorable song is named “Lambada”. You might recognize the beat as other DJs have made remixes and versions of the song. Other memorable artists of Brazilian Funk today include: Mc Kevinho, Mc Livinho, And Mc Bin Laden.
