Pesto the penguin is an enchanting, inquisitive little bird who inhabits cold Antarctica. Unusual for a large part of the rest of his fellow penguins, Pesto develops a knack for finding adventure and delights in exploring farther inland than on the icy shores where his colony rests. With his feathers tinted green from falling into a seaweed bed when a chick, Pesto stands out among his peers. He is quick on his feet and smart, solving those problems that leave other penguins scratching their heads. He loves sliding down frozen hills and moving swiftly on the ice-the delight of his fellow penguins.

Pesto loves the ocean and spends hours diving and running after fish in its deep blue waters. His best friend is a seal, the gentle Luna. She often joins him on underwater expeditions. Together, they overcome the occasional dangers of the sea, such as hungry leopard seals or shifting ice floes, always depending on their teamwork and quick thinking to stay safe. Despite his adventurous nature, Pesto has a warm heart and is always willing to help out a fellow penguin in need. Whether he’s collecting fish for an injured friend or keeping a watchful eye out for predators, Pesto is a popular member of his penguin community.
