Track season is here

Track is a sport that uses many different skill sets. Track includes sprinting, long-distance running, throwing, and long jumping. Running track is healthy to keep your body in shape, which includes keeping your heart healthy since it uses cardiovascular movement and reduces the risk of injuring yourself. Running track can also be a form of therapy, it helps clear your mind and meditate. You can also make connections with people from other schools. According to kfschools.org it quotes “Track and Field is a way for you to see your progress as you achieve your goals. The first track meet is this Thursday the 16th. It is not too late to join the team. If you are interested in joining, please talk to Ms. Perez (the dance teacher in room 190).
