Looking through the lens

On November 16, 2021, Ms. Goldstein’s AP Art students welcomed a guest speaker that introduced them to photography. Lilian Villalba has previously come to Miami Springs to educate students on proper photography. This year she taught our AP Art students helpful techniques to use when taking pictures from something as simple as your phone. She spoke of the ‘Rule of Thirds’ and ‘The Fibonacci Spiral’ and how these skills change the perspective and interest of a photo. She introduced a new way of seeing through our lens.
