Math Club returns to MSSH

Miami Springs’ Mu Alpha Theta club is back in business.  While the pandemic almost marked the end of its legacy with less and less members and a lack of sponsors, it was officially revived less than two weeks ago by Mrs. Betancourt.  The club may not compete this year, as they have to focus on rebuilding in size first, but they still have something to offer the school.  On B days, (with the exception of Fridays) tutors will be available in Mrs. Betancourt’s room (109) to assist any student with algebra, geometry, algebra 2, and Pre-calculus, during lunch.  Students who wish to tutor others for community service hours are also encouraged to speak with President Steven Quinones or Secretary Natalie Maestre.
