Rapper T.I. disappointed in Lil Wayne’s response to Black Lives Matter

Lil Wayne’s comments about Black Lives Matter struck a major sour note with another celebrity rapper.  T.I. blasted the “Lollipop” rapper and deemed his controversial remarks “unacceptable” three days after Wayne said he doesn’t feel connected to the movement in his ABC’s “Nightline” interview. He also said mentioned that it had nothing to do with him.

T.I. was very displeased with what Wayne said. “U TRIPPING!!!! I don’t know what you goin thru, or what you are attempting to avoid but this … is absolutely unacceptable!” T.I. began in a long-winded Instagram missive directed at Wayne on Saturday.

“You’re disrespecting yourself, bringing shame on your family name & tarnishing your legacy.”

Wayne got more irritated as the interview went on and said that all the incidents involving police shootings against black people should not be grouped together and given the “Black Lives Matter” label.

Wayne later apologized with the distance he was showing towards the article and said that the questions they were previously asking about his daughter had agitated him.
