Slime Season 3

Jeffrey Lamar Williams also known as Young Thug is one of the best-selling rap artists of today. He was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and the second youngest of his 10 siblings. Thug was first introduced to the rap game when he signed a record deal with Gucci Mane, another well-known rapper of today. Immediately after, Young Thug gained recognition with first two releases: “Lifestyle” and “About The Money” in 2014. Thug has climbed to top and is still on the journey. He says that Lil Wayne is his idol and who first influenced him in becoming a rap artist. Making collaborations with a few Southern rap artists like Rich Homie Quan, Waka Flocka, Gucci Mane, and T.I. Young Thug continues to produce and recently released a new project, “Slime Season 3” (“SS3”).  SS3 racked-up over 18 million streams in the first week. The mix-tape was first released March 24, 2016, and it doesn’t stop streaming. SS3 featured Yak Gotti in his song named “Digits”, and it has been a great success for Young Thug, and this being only his 2nd project. Young Thug released an EP titled “I’m up” on February 4, 2016, a few weeks before dropping SS3. He is known for releasing several small projects before a main project, so be on the lookout for other releases or collaborations in the next few weeks.
