And the Oscar goes to…

On February 28, 2016, the 88th anniversary of the Academy Awards took place in Hollywood at the Dolby Theatre.  All celebrities, actors, writers, directors, composers, etc. reunited there to award the best of the entertaining arts with shiny golden Oscars. Many of the greats were present, people such as Sylvester Sallone, Charlize Therone and Tom Hanks but there were also many talented actors and actresses that are beginning to show their potential, among them there is Eddie Redmayne, Jennifer Lawrence and Alicia Vikander.

The elegant night had many performances. Sam Smith performed Writing’s on the Wall of James Bond, Lady Gaga performed a beautiful song called ‘Till it Happens to You’ that caused many emotional reactions from the stars because it was performed in the name of rape victims.

Over all the night was unforgettable, with all the tension, tears, laughs and cheers it brought satisfaction to many all over the world.
