Goleman who?

Miami Springs Softball defeated Goleman High School on February 25, 2016 with a score of 6-0. With Emily Santos pitching and a spectacular infield performance, nothing can get past this team. Nicole Borroto took-off and caught a line drive that started the momentum for the team. The hard grounders towards third were received by Kristen Medina who came in clutch with great throws to first base. Amanda Parson (catcher) was on her toes and able to throw to second and first without any hesitation striking out Goldman’s batter that was stealing to second! Springs continued to fire bombs to left and right field; however, Goleman players weren’t able to stop the unstoppable Springs blowout. Having the right chemistry in a team makes all the difference in the world for this Miami Springs softball team and it showed  how much potential this young team has.
