Are you a celebrity?

Have you ever thought you weren’t beautiful because you don’t look like a celebrity? Well, think again! Celebrities aren’t who they appear to be. Sadly, we all look up to and worship these individuals that hide behind a mask of botox injections and numerous plastic surgeries. Of course, their talents will always be there but what happens when what we define as “beauty” is stripped away with a bottle of makeup remover? There’s an entirely different person hidden underneath. I don’t understand why these women are fawned over when the majority of their physical beauty is fake. Yet, comments such as these are frowned upon and viewed as harsh, specially when the paparazzi makes a statement about a celeb caught without their usual 50 pounds of makeup. I say, if they didn’t want to be judged by their appearance, then they should have thought twice before entering the spotlight. It comes with the territory.

The truth of the matter is that, these women look bad without their elaborate get-ups, simply because they wear them so often.  The public becomes accustomed to the makeup and associate the facade with their everyday life. Unfortunately, the minute you strip yourself of the makeup, shoes, and outfit, you then become worse than “plain Jane”. What people fail to realize is that you don’t need to wear tons of makeup to look pretty. In fact, if your skin doesn’t breath and it’s caked-on with tons of makeup, it can suffer greatly: it can loose some of it’s natural elasticity, you can get acne, you can alter your skin tone, and ultimately making it harder to maintain healthy skin, so the problem is just compounded further.

The best thing you can do for yourself is to go naked!  Let your natural beauty shine through, then you become more than a mere celebrity.
