On this day we celebrate not only Valentine Day but we here at Miami springs senior high school also take a minute to remember and honor the seventeen people killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland Fl.
All over Florida, schools are doing different things to honor these fallen heroes. Whether it’s taking a moment of silence or writing positive messages on the floor and even on banners around school, both the Florida schools and even the community members are coming together to remember and still grieve over this horrible tragedy.
All over we remember the high school football coach who ran toward the sound of gunfire, trying to shield his students. We remember the 16-year-old girl her whole future ahead of her ready to take on the world. and we remember the son of immigrant parents who was going to be the first in his family to graduate high school and head out to college.
On this day, we remember these people who were fathers, brothers, sisters, teachers, girlfriends, daughters, and wives–people with their whole lives ahead of them. On this day we promise to remember and never forget the tragic even that shook the whole nation world-wide.

You came into my life on a summers day,
Emotions set in the second you spoke,
After feeling heartbroken for so long,
You brought back the light that i needed again.
Life was perfect in the beginning days,
Until this absurd thing happened to us,
A miracle, you said, was coming soon,
Sadly, it wasn’t something i wanted.
While you were excited for this new life,
“Shocking” would be an understatement,
I felt heartbroken at the sudden news,
but, i had to overcome this event.
because… you were something important,
that made me feel that love i needed again.
My dog

I really love my precious friendly dog.
He is a boy dog and likes belly rubs.
He is a lot of fun to play fetch with.
My dog enjoys taking a walk outside.
He wears a blue collar with a name tag.
My dog was born with a distorted leg.
Even though his leg is weird he walks fine.
The name I gave my pet dog is Hero.
His fur is black and white and eyes are brown.
He absolutely despises swimming.
The age of my dog is around five years.
Unfortunately he’s not potty-trained.
I always love making my dog happy.
When I arrive home he gets excited.
