Patriots keep the streak alive

By: Harold Espinales

On November 23, 2015, the New England Patriots knocked off the Buffalo Bills to continue their 10 game winning streak. The game took place in Foxborough, M.A. where the Patriots’ stadium is located. The final score was 20-13 as the game was a defensive grudge match. The Bills’ swarming defense gave Tom Brady immense pressure in the pocket that resulted in an interception and many incomplete passes. No matter how hard it gets, Tom Brady and his team find a way to win. The last time the Patriots were 10-0 was in the 07’ season that saw them go undefeated for the entirety of the season. As the winning streak continues, undefeated is a word that keeps being brought up. The Patriots have already said that, “ We are focused on one game at a time”. This might be true but, I doubt it. I’m not 100% sure but I know for a fact that they have thought about it I mean, who wouldn’t? 16-0 is something you just can’t ignore. There’s 6 games left in the season and out of the 6, 1 game presents a difficult challenge. That game is against the Denver Broncos, fierce rivals of the New England Patriots. The last time they played the Patriots cruised to an easy victory but the question looms, can they do it again? I believe that they can and I also believe that if they win they will go undefeated. Going undefeated isn’t an easy task and it has only been done twice in the history of the NFL by the Patriots and Miami Dolphins. If New England can do it again, they have a strong argument in the case of being the best franchise in NFL history. So with that being said, can they do it? I believe so, do you?
