Seahawks fall to the Patriots

The famous Super Bowl is an event in which the best two teams in the entire nation face off in a game to decide who the best football team is. The first Super Bowl to ever be played was held on January 15, 1967. Recently we all experienced the latest Super Bowl game between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks in which the patriots were triumphant. The league is divided into two conferences. The American Football Conference (AFC) and the National Football Conference (NFC). The best team in each league plays in the Super Bowl. This day is considered by most an unofficial national holiday. Only thanksgiving beats this day in food consumption and only the soccer’s UEFA Champions League final beats it as the most watched annual sporting event.  “Every team has a journey,” Brady said Sunday, “and a lot of people lost faith in us early. But we held strong. We held together.”
