The worldwide phenomenon continues to set movie goers on fire with The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay – Part 1.  When Katniss completely destroys the games, she goes to District 13 after District 12 is wiped out. She meets President Coin who is played by Julianne Moore and convinces her to be the symbol of rebellion. Although at first she is skeptic and unsure, she warms up to the idea when given a motive: the rescue of Peeta. Under the leadership of President Coin and with the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta who is played by Josh Hutcherson. Based on the third installment of the trilogy written by Suzanne Collins, the novel has sold over 65 million copies in the U.S. alone. The movie version of the novel is divided into two parts.  Mocking Jay part 2 will be released some time in 2015. For a feel-good and empowering movie with a strong female lead character, Mocking Jay Part 1 will not disappoint.  The film features a vocal recording and song by Jennifer Lawrence.
